When its 100 degrees in New York, it's 72 in Los Angeles.  When its 30 degrees in New York, in Los Angeles it's still 72.  However, there are 6 million interesting people in New York, and 72 in Los Angeles.  - Neil Simon

Anyway, I'm here this morning (instead of at home, where I'd meant to be), as I've got one critical meeting at 9:30. After which, I'll be heading back home. But between the meeting and the bus ride, I'll be way behind on LJ and comments for a while.

It's also raining cats and dogs here. My boss just came in completely soaked (I got in a few minutes before the rain hit Horror Movie proportions).

Anyway, off to get some work done pre-meeting.

Oh, and Jae Seo gets my NL Rookie of the Year vote (although I'm sure that kid on the Marlins will get it, as the Mets have too many good rookies, who will split the vote).

Well, that may be true of LA, but not of SF. *G* And the food's cheaper than in New York. ;p

Dude, if there are only 72 interesting people in LA, how many are there in Atlanta? It must be in negative numbers.

Mal used to say NYC was a great city, but not great enough to walk around with the constant smell of shit and piss and vomit all the time. Plus, apparently, homeless drunkards were always throwing up on him, but I'm pretty sure that's just Mal and not the city in general.

Nah, NY and SF are like that.

LA is too laid back to give a crap.

Which confuses the NY people and pisses off the haughty SF people.

I'd like to comment that LA must now have 70, since I and [livejournal.com profile] tikimama escaped.

Lucky me, I must know all 72. What are the odds? ;)

Also, when it's 100 degrees in New York, it's 104 out here. But it =is= 72 (well, 65) when it's 30 back there.

Nice quote, too bad about the bullshit factor. ;)
