So long, and thanks for all the fish

I'm off to MI in about an hour, but since I still have lots of packing and prep to do, this'll be my last post for a while. I don't expect to catch up on comments and LJ posts until late tonight, but since you should all be reading Harry Potter and watching The Hulk, that shouldn't matter too much.

Quick summary of yesterday: aussie_nyc made it here safely, and he, shadesong, and I headed to Noodle for lunch, after which shadesong dropped us off at home. We chatted about the important things in life -- Baseball, IF, Michael Marshall Smith, etc. -- until Shadesong got home, at which point we detoured to read comics from our latest Westfield shipment. We then headed to Chili's for dinner, followed by a trip to BlockBuster to buy, rent, and pay a bullshit late fee, followed by meeting up with blueingenue and libidoergosum for Bruster's.

Digression: Bruster's has a new flavor: Key Lime Pie. It's obscenely good. Lime-flavored ice cream, with graham cracker crust mixed in. I had a foodgasm.

Afterwards, we headed back to our place and chatted for a while, and watched Zoolander, then called it a night.

Was a fun day, but not much of an LJ-day. Which is okay by me. It's nice to just hang out with people in real life.

Anyway, I'm off to pack and head to the airport.
