Personally, I think it was Avon and Vila in combination that was the high point of the show's characterization. Everything from broad comedy to utter terror.
Yeah, it's a decent announcement but I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for it. Played that game too often with Doctor Who to get too excited too soon.
I've never understood Paul Darrow's obsession with resurrecting this show. Apparently he never saw the last episode. Screwing with a perfect ending like that, that's just stupid. That series ended on Gauda Prime, let it be.
I love Blake's 7... and this may sound stupid, but I used to watch it on a different country's TV station, because our own was too damn conservative to allow such a program. For a while, I even considered learning Bulgarian just so that I can understand what they were saying.
