The Lord of Castle Black arrived today. And yes, rollick, I've already found one passage (on page 24, running for about half a page) that will have you screaming.

Hm. My schedule is pretty tight over the next few days. I think I'll just get in some screaming now while I've got some downtime.

My copy hadn't showed up, last I checked, but I'm going to need to be within a block of the office today anyway, so I'll go check my mail and see if it's there yet. Because hey, screaming! Woo!

I managed to persuade the local Barnes & Noble shop to sell me a copy they had sitting in the back room since Amazon.com had already listed the book as available. The local Borders still wouldn't let it on the shelves. Bought it Thursday, and I'm on page 315/397, even though I'm oncall this weekend.
