I so need this book

Stan Lee and the Rise and Fall of the American Comic Book. This is, from the advance news I've heard, not exactly the most flattering portrayal of Stan (seeing as one of the authors is a bigwig at The Comics Magazine of Pretentious Wanking Journal, that's no surprise), but the Kirby and Ditko relationships, the Atlas and DC battles, and the Stan Lee Media situation are all things that I'd love to read more about.

Needless to say, I've wishlisted it. :-)

Interesting you should mention that book - I met one of the authors of that book (Jordan) at a barbecue a couple weekends ago. He had a copy with him but I didn't get a chance to look at it, unfortunately.
