The Mets Win the Series!

Espn ran a computer simulation of the '62 Mets against the '04 Tigers, to see who would win in a battle of the worst teams of all time. And the Mets managed to win the simulated series in 7! Woohoo!

In other news, I washed the bad taste of TCM: TNG out of my mouth by finally watching (now that Tivo managed to catch it) Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence. Now this is quality entertainment! Although it lacked Bruce Campbell (and even Claudia Christain) from the earlier movies, it still had Robert "Worst Bond Villain ever" Davi as the lead (actually, he was an okay villain in the worst Bond movie), as well as the gorgeous Caitlin Dulany. Besides, how often do you get to see TV's Doug Savant get defibrillated to death? That's not a rhetorical question; if there are other opportunities to watch him die, I want to know.

Blast. I think I managed to go a whole two months forgetting the two Timothy Dalton movies ever happened and you went and reminded me.

Actually, I liked his first movie. I don't blame him, I blame whoever was guiding the series.

Worst Bond movie? Oh, I have to take issue with that. 'Moonraker' and 'A View to a Kill' rate higher in your book than 'License to Kill'?

I still adore VtoK, cheesy as it was. And Moonraker, though awful, is still better than LtK, imho. The problem is, I need my Bond to be larger than life, even when it gets personal.
