I know, I don't post quizzes. But this was an '80s lyrics quiz (although at least one song isn't from that decade, and a few others are pushing it, or are covers of older stuff).
I spotted to covers, and I'm pretty sure one question is incorrect. Regardless, I didn't spend too much time thinking about it, but I still probably wouldn't have done better than:
that's the result I got, too. I was kind of upset at first, because I consider myself a product of the 80s, but then I realized that I wasn't ALLOWED to listen to "secular" radio or to watch Mtv (my dad was a pastor) so... I guess I was at a slight disadvantage.
Spent 20 minutes racking my brain on this thing and it turned my answer sheet into blanks then graded me on that. I only left two blanks and I should have known that Ghostbuster answer.
I got this one too. I left quite a few blanks, but I got most of the really hard questions. I got the 10 point question--because I know my Eagles' lyrics!--and most of the 4 point ones.
I got the same answer despite all the problems (there are at least three questions where the answer is wrong because the lyric doesn't use the same word every time, and plenty more have lyrics out of sequence or bridging words missing). I sent him (or her) a note to fix that stuff. :)
*nod* there were a few things when I was basically filling in the blanks based on what I was hoping the writer was thinking (the Devil Inside one being a prime example).
