Much better
Nov. 19th, 2003 06:38 pmElayna's math homework tonight (with some more complex 1X3 digit multiplication) was much better (although she was much whinier about doing it). Only four mistakes out of thirty, making for a solid B+ effort. Far from perfect, but vastly better than before. Here's hoping the other night was an aberration.

Our principle gave us a wonderful idea for all the kids, and any issues they might have. Make it fun. Do not just write out a bunch of problems and have the child work on it. Make it into a game, or a puzzle, or a treat (even edible ways to do this) and they will have much better success.
Good luck!!!
