Teen Titans theme, part two

A few months, back, I posted the lyrics to the Teen Titans theme song (from Puffy AmiYumi's album Nice. I finally found the Japanese lyrics while searching the web. No idea how to transliterate, and I'll bet good money it doesn't translate straight to the English lyrics, either.

edit: That seems to show up better on some browsers than on others. Apologies if it's gibberish to you. Then again, it's pretty meaningless to me on any browser. :-)

Either way... I don't see how it translates to the American lyrics. Something about natural forces, protection, parents and weight control. Seems like it's a completely different song in Japanese though... I guess I need to pick up "Nice". I wonder if the album has a Japanese version of the song. I already own 2 PuffyAmiYumi albums (Spike & the History). Been listening to them as a spin-off project by Jellyfish's Andy Sturmer since 2000.

From what I've seen, the album only has the English version, unless they've re-pressed it.

i higly doubt thats the japanese-english translation cuz from what my limited (extremely limited) japanese vocabulary tells me that thats not right. i thot i could translate it but i couldnt but from hearing it im pretty sure that the second line of the song goes " From their tower they will protect us all" or smth like that. or see it all, somewhat liek the english one aint it? =P well the potato, eating regardless one is a fake, sorry for popping ur bubble, but tis still hilarious to read =P

Sorry to barge in on your journal, but, I was having insomnia and came across you from Shadesong, and thought I'd translate:

(items in parenthesis added by me for clarification... Japanese uses lots of inference to imply stuff which doesn't come across in English)
[items in brackets not in lyrics, but explanations]

1.(As usual) I obeyed traffic rules today,
I ate (stuff) regardless of whether I liked it or not.
Earthquakes, Thunder, Fire, Father
[the following are school subjects]
Japanese [like, English], Mathematics, Home Economics, Social Studies.
What is frightening is what isn't there.

2. I call with a loud voice (that it is late)
[I'm not sure what ch'yau is] Troubles (are only) half solved
Papa's schedule control
Mama's weight control
There is no end to the asking.

That's not a very good job. Well, the gist of the song is about the troubles of this, I assume, school-age person, and the weight of the world around him/her.

Any errors or discrepancies with other translations, they're probably right, as my Japanese isn't the best.
