More weekend notes

We finally broke out the 20th Anniversary edition of Trivial Pursuit yesterday. Playing a six-player game (with mcsnee, sunyata__, shadesong, vidicon, mightywombat, and yours truly), I can say with all humbleness that I kicked ass. Everyone else combined had seven wedges when I won.

And to think, I don't like "fluffy" games. :-)

We also watched It's a Very Muppet Christmas Movie on DVD. Funny as it was when it was aired, the DVD makes it even better, with some great outtakes and deleted scenes (including a line from Miss Piggy that borders on PG-13), and an Inside Pepe's Studio feature that James Lipton could learn a thing or two from.

Today is taking care of Elayna day, interspersed with some futile attempts at cleaning more of my office, and maybe some writing.

Is the 20th Anniversary edition the pop culture edition? I'm dying to get that game!!!

It's got some pop culture, but I suspect you're thinking of the new one that comes with a DVD.

Man everytime I get to play Trivial Pursuit it's with the Woman's family and it always ends up her Brother-in-law bitching because he's too dumb for the game and is a bad sport, only compounded by the fact that the only real challenge I have is his wife...

Right up until the damned Sports questions... Curse you Orange!!
