Well, my initial gift was the combination chess/checkers/poker game set. Not surprisingly, someone else snagged it, and I ended up with a pack of those nonpareils that are a mixture of sugar and trans fat, and a jar of "New Mexico" style Chile Jam, which actually intrigues me.
The food was plentiful and good, as always. It included salmon, London broil (nice and bloody), some great salads, some homemade Jamaican dishes, lots of desserts, and sangria and beer. Everything a work party in the middle of the day needs.
Our boss also gave us the traditional bottle of Sweetwater Festive Ale. My bottle is #1646 out of 4800.
He also gave me the best news -- when I get back from vacation, I might find a G5 and 23-inch display sitting on my desk. Woohoo!

Date: 2003-12-19 05:48 pm (UTC)(Side-Note: Sorry I wasn't able to use the 10 % you sent my way. I really didn't even have the 17 dollars or so the DVD would of cost me. My cable internet goes up an extra $20 bucks next month after the 3 month "trial" period and I've been saving up for that, also, for my birthday to have a nice night out (since all my friends are also broke) and for New Years so I can bust out crazy craze. The sentiment was much appreciated though.)
