This is Dennis Hastert (R-Illinois):

This is Hastur:

One is an unspeakably evil creature from another dimension. The other is a fictional creation of H.P. Lovecraft.

The names sound similar, but you should endeavor not to confuse them.

And given Hastur's ravishing beauty, I don't understand why the men aren't lining up for dates...

After all... If I had to choose, an evening with her would be preferable!

I so rarely genuinely "laugh out loud" at livejournal posts. Bravo.

Hastur needs a bikini waxing. I can't speak for Hastert, though I don't think I wanna know....

I dunno, I'm sure there are many unclean beasties which suckle at the teats of both the former and latter...

Okay... first... figures!

Second... Now I want to know more. Please explain this character and why it has no gendre. I'm obviously not familiar with the creator, sorry.

On a side note... Am I the only person left who remembers the book Weave World by Clive Barker? It seems like every time something makes me think of it enough to mention it, I get totally blank stares... You being the king of horror, do I have the author correct? I did read such a book, yes???

I started reading that book during my freshman year of college. I still haven't finished it. It didn't grab me.

Yendi, babe, your posts should come with warning labels. "Don't drink and read."

Thank you, though, that made my day.
