No, not Linda Carter. Anita Mui. Wonder Woman from the two Heroic Trio movies, as well as the star of so many other good films (although the only one most folks remember is Rumble in the Bronx, and maybe The Enforcer).

And Drunken Master II (or Legend Of...) where she played the mother.

I was bummed when I heard that.. Even made a call to my brother about it.. We swap signifigant death news regularly..

I'd hope she would be happy knowing that people over here who never got a formal hollywood type introduction to her still enjoyed her work and will miss seeing her

...this makes me very sad. I loved her in Drunken Master II, and thought she made a perfect compliment to Jackie Chan's humour. She will be missed.

I saw the original Heroic Trio by accident, and was delighted by it (hey, I kinda worked with the dying-scientist-boyfriend!!). I didn't realise there was a second -- something to look forward to.

See? She lives on.

That's really awful! I'm really sorry to hear it, she was a wonderful actor with such a great gift for comic and dramatic alike. Might have to see if we can have a local Anita Mui-athon in her memory.
