It's not everyday that your daughter tells you over lunch, "You know, Pete's Dragon is kinda like Christopher Walken dancing."

She was thinking of the fact that they had to edit in animation in the former, and paint out wires (well, digitally erase them) in the video for "Freedom of Choice."

This lead into a discussion of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, which, of course, eventually led to the revelation that Professor Plum and Judge Doom are the same person.

Yeah, it was an interesting lunch. :-)

Don't forget Doc Brown, and John Bigboote (Buckaroo Banzai), and Uncle Fester, and and and.. yeah.

I like Christopher Lloyd. :)

Well, the others I can understand, but no Doc Brown? Every child should have the desire to get a Delorean with a Flux Capacitor!

I think it is so awesome that she knows about Pete's Dragon, the video with Christopher Walken, and Clue.

You guys do a great job exposing her to the right stuff. :)

Ah. I haven't gotten it yet, either, and I've been wanting to. I liked 1 and 3, and only somewhat liked 2.

For some reason, I read that as being oddly sexual. How much capacity for flux do you have?

Okay.. Christopher LLoyd is definitely a favorite..

So I gotta agree with exposing her to Back to the Future..

And while I'm not sure how she would take it.. later on,
definitely expose her to Buckaroo Banzai and Addam's Family. ;)

Anything that inspires her imagination is good.. And, well, these are some of the movies that still twist -my- imagination on a daily basis. ::child-like twinkling of the eyes:: ;)
