Kings of Chaos update

It's hard not to suspect the folks with armies in the four digits already and treasuries of $25K of cheating just a little bit. But cheating happened in the last game, too, and I still held my own.

I'm still figuring out the rules. I attack other armies, and get like 20 gold, but my knife gets damaged and costs like 140 to repair. I'm a major looser.

It's definitely worth reading the forums (since the rules aren't explicit). There's some incredibly complex ratio for damage to items (and the bug in the previous version that allowed you to repair items by buying new ones is gone). One thing to definitely do is not let too much money build up, or else you're a prime target.

I don't see money building up as being a huge issue, it seems to come pretty slow. At the rate it comes in it'll be a long time before my army has anything better than a knife to share between them. But they do have a knife. Uno. One.

Looks like I'm getting clicks from somewhere, I'm up to 8 troops.

Well, the money thing eventually builds up (the more non-spy troops you have, the more money you get each half hour). This is usually an issue overnight. By the end of the last game, I was getting about $85K per half hour.

Also, definitely buy defense. :-)

The big thing seems to be the lack of sabotage. They've also added more levels of offense/defense, and reduced the rate at which money rolls in. Still trying to see what else has changed.

BTW, something I forgot to do here, but you could do when you edit, is add 'target="_blank"' to each of your links. I find it a lot easier to have the list open in one window and the recruit links in another; yeah, you can do that with a right-click, but this opens a new window automatically.

I'm there, although I'm sure that I again won't do so well. But I was 25k at the end. :)

A little from column A, a little from column B. I actually did very little fighting in the last age, just worked on building a good defense and spy network. But different folks have different tactics. It definitely favors people who don't sleep much.

the main thing in koc u wanna worry anout is ur $$$ and how u get it. if u count on ur income as ur main source ur not getting far fast. iva got 45 D. and and my attack is at 2,000,000+ (HoeBag is my account name). from my daily raids i get enough $$$ for 1 missle and 1-3 $100,000 spy or sentury tools. 9/10th of me income comes from raids and with the money i save on having no D allows me to fuel my war machine faster making more and more money with each raid
