First, as many have reported, Star Wars IV-VI come to DVD this year. And since this officially confirms that Lucas is only released the royally fucked over editions, you can now buy your bootlegged versions of the real movies guilt-free!

And in better news, big screen adaptations of The Giver and Bridge to Terabithia have been announced! Yay!

I think Bridge to Terabithia is one I'll have to skip. I remember that the book made me cry inconsolably.

Hmm, that reminds me that I need to figure out when I can go see Girl with a Pearl Earring (loved the book) and The Company (love dance, movie sounds good).

I had to explain "Greedo didn't shoot first" to nichy a couple weeks ago when I used it online. I also told her the extremely horrible Jabba scene from IV.

I thought Lucas said they'd never come out on DVD? Or was it a technical "the original series will never come out on DVD" ?
