Belated gift-noting

I never mentioned the gift shadesong got me for Valentine's Day -- the Great Big Sea DVD This DVD kicks ass and takes names -- a great concert, tons of videos, karaoke versions of the songs (including "Mari-Mac"), and documentaries. By one of the best bands out there.

And last night, jet_li_wannabe gave me the final part of my Xmas present: Chez Grunt (the latest in the Steve Jackson line of card games). Just as much slack as in the other games, but fewer cats. They've added illicit activities, though, which is fun.

Major coincidence. We bought Chez Grunt and played it on Saturday. Yeah, it was a lot of fun.

With all of the Chez (and Munchkin) games, seeing the cards for the first time is often the best part. They've got some damned funny writers.
