She would make a good choice. Although since pre-production is still months away, I doubt they've got the casting figured out yet (and much as I love Rodriguez's standard cast, I'd rather not see Antonio Banderas as John).

But when I saw the four-armed guy they did for... was that one of the Mortal Kombat things? Something gameish. Anyway, that was when I knew they were gonna be able to do Barsoom.
I am both delighted, and terrified beyond belief. I mean, this could be a good adaptation, like Pirates of the Caribbean, or it could really suck, like Lord of the Rings. So many variables . . . we shall see if it actually makes it to the screen.
