1. My Cell Phone.

2. The two ARCs I'm reading -- The Ghost Writer (interesting so far, but I'm not far enough into it to really judge) and The Cradle Place, the latest Thomas Lux poetry colleciton, which is hysterical so far (one poem about impalements, and another named "Can't Sleep; Clowns Will Eat Me". I finished The Well of Lost Plots (the American edition, with the bonus chapter that really doesn't accomplish much, so don't feel like you missed anything if you're a Brit). It was delightful, as always. And I need the next Thursday Next book NOW!

3. Probably something else, but I can't remember it.

Annoyance: Got into work today to find a FedEx box from a company that had a drawing for an iPod mini at the Blackboard User's Conference that I went to. I got all excited, only to find that the box contained a hat, awarded as a "consolation" prize. Yeah, I feel real fucking consoled. When I figure out how to make the hat play MP3s, I'll feel like I get a real consolation prize.

Only a few months till the next Next book! It is indeed coming out in August, the same time as the UK edition. I liked the extra chapter; it amused me. I'm also not sure if the UK editions have the nifty color plates. Of course, I'm a tad biased. I'm so curious to see what he's doing with Hamlet.

Yeah, I know. It's wrong. I've heard from all the people officially involved (including Jasper) at the lunch last week that it's August. Obviously a decision made after the book went to press.
