I've been reading PA for at least a year now, cause it's so fucking funny, and brutal, and brutally funny. Particulary the two or three strips where Jesus shows up to game with the boys. And the artwork is so slick.
And then they did Saga of Cardboard Tube Samurai and completely blew me away, because it's actually PRETTY. These guys are, like, fucking ARTISTS. Sometimes I forget that comics can go there.
It's really easy to forget web comics can go there! But, yeah, the art is amazing, really and I enjoy the comic itself enough to keep going back, though I don't keep up with it the way I'd like to.
They won my eternal adoration with the Fruit Fucker 2000 (http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?date=2002-02-11&res=l) ad.
In general, the facial expressions in PA are extremely good. There are a couple of other online comics with a similar graphic style, but PA is the only one which really gets those perfect, perfect faces.
