Quick weekend recap

yendiWent to Elayna's Spring Fling, where we bid on and won two baskets of international stuff that were way underpriced. Yeah, I'm competitive, but hey, we got lots and lots of nifty food as a result.

gwynraven, who crashed with us so she could attend the Flogging Molly concert. She, shadesong, and volta (who arrived on Friday) all met up with charleseb and mermaidblue to head to the concert. I caught up on reading and Tivo in the meantime (verdict on Game Over? Um, game over, man.). All reports are that it was a great concert (I passed on it mainly because I just wasn't in a mood for going out that late -- getting old, etc).
Today, the five of us (volta, shadesong, gwynraven, elaynajade, and yours truly) headed to Javamonkey, where we met up with mermaidblue, ryokan, sibylla, demetria23, arachne8, karlita, reprobayt, ashlupa, dark_blade, and bheansidhe (and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, so please correct me!). 'Twas much fun, and I ate a quite yummy baked brie plate.
The rest of the afternoon was spent lounging and relaxing, followed by making chicken chili, so the house now smells quite nice.
