My first poll in a long time, about a very important topic:

[Poll #279878]

If anyone actually chooses the second option, feel free to explain your choice in comments. :-)

EDIT: Yeah, I know that "animated. . . cartoon" is redundant. Another reason I wish polls could be edited. Sigh.

Well, I'd like the option not to have the second half with Batgirl, but YES...

Oh, and Soap. And Duckman.

Tick. Watched every ep on Comedy Central, often at 1AM.

Daria would be good as well.

As for animated/cartoon being redundant, there are plenty of old cartoons, like Superfriends that hardly move at all.

I'm not one to buy series on DVD (mostly becuase they're so expensive), but you've mentioned two today that I will most definitely be purchasing. Sledge Hammer (which brings back all sorts of great memories for me) and (if they ever release it) the Tick series. That show was more intelligent than most people will every realize. The humor was frickin' genius!

That is the short lived and perfectly hysterical in its own right Live Action series. [livejournal.com profile] yendi wants the Animated one released, which it isn't still. Which sucks. Big time.

TICK! I loved those so much ...

Another thing I'd like to see but can't name ... what was the name of that cartoon on MTV way back when - with the tall thing female in as-little-as-possible and the hair that curled up under her ears to her face ... it was futuristic. Damn, I can see it in my head, the name's not even on the tip of my tongue ....

Yah know what I love? People who revied the live show on Amazon who bitched because the "real" version of Tick wasn't on DVD.

Funny, I didn't know they put comics on DVD now. *sigh*

The Tick comics especially are hard to put on DVD because they are bigger than normal comics making it tougher to fold them down small enough to....

I'm not sure where I was going with that.

The Drak Pack. (An obscure cartoon from my long-ago childhood.)
And the rest of "Angel." Because I didn't start watching the show until it hit DVD, and now I'm jonesing for the rest of it. I know, I know, it'll come out eventually. I don't want it eventually. I want it NOW.

Boy, all of the suggestions in this comments section are great but The Tick needs to be released on DVD.

Image

So much stuff needs to be released on DVD.

Sledge Hammer? Really? I am not gonna be able to get over that and I am gonna have the theme song stuck in my head for the rest of the day.
