Japanese celebrity ads

Most folks know that lots of American stars who would never "sully" their images over here by doing cheap car and makeup ads have no problem doing so overseas (obviously, Catherine Zeta-Jones doesn't consider her ad career to be anything to be ashamed of). Thanks to assassingalaxia, I'm now familiar with Japander.com, where you can see Charlize Theron flirt with a bizarre puppet for the good of Honda, and Natalie Portman getting her hair rubbed with Lux. Hell, you can even see Kevin Coster drink coffee in a can. Who doesn't want that?

Thanks for that link! We have nothing as surreal as some of those over here, but print ads for some boutiques here for young girls' fashion (think Delia's or something like that) made use of Natalie Portman and Mandy Moore last year.
