Adam embarasses himself
Jun. 28th, 2004 12:39 pmThe new cover of "Our Lips are Sealed," by Hilary and Haylie Duff?
I like it. A lot.
Not that they can probably take credit for it -- it's the arrangement and, more importantly, the guitars, that make the song (in fact, verse two, when little sis is allowed to solo, is noticeably weak vocally). But damn. At least one of the '80s remakes by ephemeral contemporary brat artists that Elayna plays will be something I can stand (unlike, say, Aaron Carter's "I Want Candy," which may be the closest thing to pure evil not involving human sacrifice or Celene Dion* ).
* Yes, human sacrifice of Celene Dion would technically be a good thing, as with any case of muliplying two negatives)
