No Robot for Me!
Jul. 12th, 2004 08:58 pmSo, we didn't make it to I Robot. This is due to a combination of Fox stupidly holding their preview at the AMC Phipps (where they can fit up to thirty people per screen, and manage lines in much the same way that Jeff Torborg managed the Mets years ago) instead of the Regal 24, and Fox, 99X, Chud, and the WB giving out more way more tickets than usual (there were over 200 folks who didn't make it in, the largest number I've seen since Ocean's Eleven).
So we said fuck 'em, and headed to Ru San's. Where we gorged ourselves on sushi, tempora, and bacon-wrapped scallops.
I'm now full, and I missed seeing Isaac Asimov spin in his grave.

Date: 2004-07-13 06:32 am (UTC)I wasn't going. I'd've been yelling at the screen.
Which I'm likely to do at next week's Catwoman free screening, but I'm sure I won't be the only one.

Look forward to seeing your review when you do see it!
