Why I love my life

Two quick notes:

shadesong has started a new writing project, which can be found at placesyouhaunt It's kicking all sorts of ass. Very different (without being any less good) than shayara. Living with a damned talented writer rocks.

As does living with our daughter. The following conversation is from last night, as I was tucking her into bed, after Elayna made a silly joke:

yendi: You know, you're a goofball.

Elayna: Yeah. I should go to Goofball Pride.

yendi: We'll have to see where it is.

Elayna: Well, there's Pagan Pride and Gay Pride, so there should be Goofball Pride, too.

Yeah, I love my life.

Oh, work is still hectic, and I'm still taking a vacation from reading LJ (well, I'll load my friends page every once in a blue moon, but not often enough to be aware of anything). So email me, etc. Of course, I'm pretty much too overwhlemed to deal with email, either. I'm basically on vacation from everything but work.
