First, happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] bheansidhe and [livejournal.com profile] blergeatkitty, happy belated to [livejournal.com profile] pharminatrix, and happy early to [livejournal.com profile] gothwalk.

[livejournal.com profile] shadesong is asking for thoughts on Identity Crisis. You can find my ramblings in that thread.

Scrubs continues to be amazing. And Heather Graham continues to be an inspired casting choice.

Texans, like Swift Boat Veterans, have not had their image well-served by Dubya (this is the state that gave us Molly Ivins, Jim Hightower, and Anne Richards, after all, and they should be proud). Nice to see some of them getting a little pissed about that.

Today, the interns are attending to moving and surplusing old equipment. This means that things are loud and I'm more unable to concentrate than usual (even with headphones. How bad is it? Having Elayna in the office yesterday was less distracting. Grr. Anyone, anywhere, who rationalizes cube farm as being in any way, shape, or form productive is a sack of shit buried under a pile of dung.

Anyway, cutting this short since ALL THE NOISE MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO FUCKING THINK.

Cube farms are just a way of letting people know they are interchangeable and meaningless.

My friend [livejournal.com profile] yoak is a strong defender of cube farms. He makes a very compelling argument but I continue to disagree.

Perhaps we should let the Texans for Truth and the Swift Boat Veterans fight it out right before the election. A political PPV!

Corporations would be falling over themselves trying to get the opportunity to smear their corporate logo all over the place. ;)

Pssst - Yendi!

As a Texan, I was tired of Bush making my state look bad back when he was governor, and very nearly before that. I washed my hands of him when he went to Washington. The rest of the country have only themselves to blame for that.
