The one released in theatres this year was cut by about 25 minutes. Not having seen either one yet (but being a huge fan of Steven Chow), I'd rather have the long one that was a hit overseas.
I've got an extra copy of the import DVD if you guys need one - I think I picked it up for 'song way back when and forgot to ship it off, and then you were moving, and all that.
I always say that 90% of the humor is in the bad subtitles.
