Me: ?
shadesong: Because there's all these half-full glasses of water everywhere.
Me: Oh. I was confused because I didn't see any aliens.
shadesong: They're all in the pantry.
Me: Another reason why Elayna needs to remember to keep the pantry door shut.
A few minutes later, Elayna wanders in.
shadesong: Elayna, you need to remember to keep the pantry door shut so the aliens don't get out.
Elayna (not pausing on her quest for a pencil): The door is shut, mommy!
We're waiting for the other half of the request to finally sink in.
