Last four hours before vacation. Woohoo! Well, except for the traveling on the two busiest days of the year. That sucks.

Is there still someone out there who doesn't have a DVD player? Get one for $9.99 Yeah, DVD players are now stocking stuffers.

Is it wrong that I hope the nicest character on Veronica Mars turns out to have perpetrated at least one, if not both, of the heinous acts in the pilot? It's just that, as last night's rerun showed, Weevil and Logan are just too much fun to lose. Duncan? He's nicely complicated, but he doesn't get the good lines.

Dammit. I adore Charlaine Harris. So I might have to buy this collection. But I'll wear a mask when I do so. I'm not proud of sending more royalties LKH's way. I remember when mainstream horror hadn't been completely subsumed by the romance and bad porn folks.

That's all. Gotta monitor the Kidlet (seeing as she's on my boss's computer).

Wow, what a price on a DVD player. We actually bought a second DVD player for the bedroom recently because it was 29 pounds -- and already a multi-region player.

Multi-region players are much more common in the UK than they are here -- and cheaper, obviously. I bought Season 2 of Gilmore Girls this week! :)

Don't know if you caught it, but the DVD player is refurbished. Not that I have anything against used equipment, but that's probably why it's so cheap.

I find it funnt that they say it priced like a VCR. I haven't seen a VCR cheaper than $40.

BTW, my theory going on Veronica Mars for the big everything (as in the shows main plot)... Veronica's mom, she's behind everything.
