Friday stuff
Mar. 11th, 2005 08:54 amToday should be the day that I finish the Great Cube Move! Yay!
Thanks to
crystalrowan, I now know that there's a CD of Yo-Yo Ma playing Ennio Morricone! Naturally, I need this, although I'm disappointed to see that my favorite Morricone score isn't on the CD.
Hey, look!
nihilistic_kid has been slashdotted!
Yesterday, I came home to find that I'd won the monthly contest at asontv.com, and I now own a mini 6-in-1 Kitchen Wonder Grater! Yes, it slices and makes julienne fries. It does not, however, dice. Ah well.
Broken toe update: Still hurts, but it's not something I notice most of the time. Swelling and discoloration is gone, and I'm going non-buddy-taped today. The only major problem is that I have a habit of cracking my toes that's almost subconscious, and if I even flex the toe, it tends to hurt. That's not as much of a problem during the day, though, given that policy of wearing shoes at work.
Emory announced their Senior Day speaker (the idea behind Senior Day was to allow for a popular speaker to balance the important/educational graduation speakers, as a way to get both sides to stop bitching about the other), and it's Peyton Manning.
Finally, it looks like Michael Mann's first draft of his new Miami Vice script has been leaked, and Filmforce gives it a review over here.
