Yes, Donna Troy is returning. What a shock. Maybe next time she can get herself killed by a decoy Batman robot.

In the meantime, I can't wait for the next explanation of her origin and survival. I wonder if they can pull a Hawkman and have absorb the memories of a whole bunch of forgotten characters, like Bumblebee, The Golden Age Fury, and Dumb Bunny. That'd make more sense than anything they've got going.

At least there'll be Garcia-López and Pérez on the art.

Hell, I think they need to go to the other extreme -- recognize that Donna's actually got a screwier continuity than Carter Hall, and just keep fucking with her. After a few more deaths and retcons, they can just release a Donna Troy piñata.

I don't know much about Donna Troy and was never a fan so I don't really have much opinion. However, didn't Diana once die and become a goddess? It looks like that's what's happening to Donna. Once you have a precedent I suppose it becomes not so outlandish.

It's a fad. Everyone's dying and ascending these days.
