Offline today
Mar. 30th, 2005 06:33 amOur secretary informed me yesterday that I was over my vacation limit, and that if I didn't take a day before the end of the month, I'd lose the day. So I'm off today. :-)
I figure that instead of my usual off-day, where I stay at home and browse the net, I'll take a true day off from things, and just spend time in the library and in coffee shops, reading and relaxing (I'd thought about heading to the High, but I'm just not a Romare Bearden fan.
Elsewhere, Elayna woke up a little bit before 4, thinking she'd overslept and missed school. I managed to get back to sleep once I corrected her, but she didn't. Poor kid. She'll be zonked tonight. On the plus side, she's dressed, taken care of her ears, and eaten breakfast already.
And my lightbulb in my office blew out this morning. Crap. Yes, I'm currently typing in the dark.
To go with the new Pratchett I talked about last night, Neil Gaiman's next novel also comes out this fall. Crap. Lots of money to spend.
Finally, Google's art today celebrates Vincent Van Gogh's birthday.
Ugg. Time to make the coffee.
