Gah. So, two days left until the upgrade from hell. Which may, if all goes well, turn out to be nothing, but, if things go to hell in a handbasket, will make this one of the suckiest weekend imaginable.
Oh, and the co-worker who was supposed to really handle the presentation today for the IT briefing just called in sick, which means I've got the ball with less than an hour to go. Fucking lovely.
That will, of course, kill two hours of the time I should have been using to create/update documentation.
Yeah, today's going to be a blast.
shadesong is out sick today as well. My poor love. :-(
On the plus side, Lost last night was damned fine. And I got yesterday's Final Jeopardy because of me L33T knowledge of Steven Brust books. And I still haven't given a red cent to George Lucas, nor do I plan to, no matter how many hyper-defensive reviews of the third film I see. The New Yorker review, incidentally, is great.
Off to accomplish things. Or not, as the case might be.
*I do not consider a Gillette Mach 3 razor to be a legitimate murder weapon, as it takes too long, and I'd get bored.

Date: 2005-05-19 01:13 pm (UTC)Is it my imagination, or are the Star Wars fanatics more touchy that the folks from PETA? I mean, I liked the original series too, but I'm not blind to the fact that the recent films have been an inferior product.
