Me: Oh, they're making a movie out of How to Eat Fried Worms.

[livejournal.com profile] shadesong: Cool.

Me: And it's adapted and directed by the guy who did The Banger Sisters.

[livejournal.com profile] shadesong: Which got terrible reviews.

Me: And doesn't even deal with the same subject matter.

[livejournal.com profile] shadesong: As far as we know. There may have been fried worms.

Me: That may have been one of the terms they used as The Banger Sisters.

[livejournal.com profile] shadesong: Yeah, like "tossing salads."

Me: "Eating fried worms."

That's today's new gross sexual innuendo.

(Oh, and in other news, we're moving to Boston!)

Boston? There's...there's snow up in here. And hurricanes. And people with funny accents. And snow.

Congrads on the move!! Boston is awesome. There's so much to do. There are a lot of great educational places to take Elayna (and they're fun too, which is bonus.)

The cold is bearable--you just don't go outside. Be prepared for life to come at you pretty fast. Bostonians are in a perpetual hurry. If you're used to Southern drivers, Boston drivers will scare the living shit out of you. They do the same stupid things as every other driver in the country, but they do it fast.

Oh, and they speak some weird variant of English, so if you need someone to translate, let me know. That't the English I grew up speaking. Also, don't expect geography to relate to logic. Where's the North End? It's to the west of the South End. Oh, and don't confuse the South End and South Boston--they're two different things. The main difference is on no account should you wear orange on St. Patrick's Day in South Boston.

You're a clever clock, you'll pick it up. :)

Too bad Ted V. Mikels couldnt have gotten the project...he's got good experience with the subject from The Worm Eaters...

(Congrats on the Boston exodus!...as I mentioned to 'Song on her LJ, it'll be a little more pricey for me and the pickup to help with this move..lol)
