What's the gift for a 10th Anniversary? A "cleavage knife," I guess. :-)

Then again, any excuse for a new knife and sword collection is a good one. Although I think I need to buy the DVDs first.

That was my first reaction, as well. I still remember it as a spin-off of Herc.

I thought I'd never watch it because it was so cheesy, and then it's very cheesy goodness was what eventually attracted me to it (though I wouldn't miss something else for it).

I bought forestcats a bodice knife long ago; it had a green handle that went well with her bodice, and her RenFaire garb, not to mention her eyes. However, we were never able to find a sheath; I never got around to getting the necessary leather; and we didn't care to risk slicing her mammary appendages. Thus, it sits in the kitchen, glinting occasionally.

I'd have thought that if any knife came with a sheath, a bodice one would be it.

Many weaponsmiths only make the weapons, but do not offer scabbards. I searched for years for a scabbard for the sword my gaming group gave me the day before I graduated medical school...finally found a cool one at a WorldCon. (Baltimore, actually)

it's too bad the series went downhill at the end --- i seem to recall the late episodes taking themselves terribly seriously despite not having much real depth AFAICT.
