yendiI just heard a co-worker griping about the amount of work he came back from vacation to: "I don't have a beautiful assistant to take up the slack when I'm gone."
And all I can think of is, "yeah, but what if your beautiful assistant turns out to be a man, kills you, stuffs you in a trunk, and terrorizes a whole bunch of high schoolers on a locomotive? David Fucking Copperfield would have been delighted not to have had an assistant, dammit!"
I suspect that it's a good thing I don't verbalize all my thoughts around here.
