Title says it all. Mondays after working all weekend are the worst.

Worried like crazy about the folks in and around New Orleans, but not reloading Cnn.com more than every few minutes. katrinacane is an LJ that's friended the NO folks who are still there and blogging (including one moron whose reason for staying is that her cats aren't freaking out -- smart thinking, given that my cats have done things like leaping into a microwave oven, clearly showing a keen danger sense).

Feet and legs hurt like hell. Walking over six miles this weekend might be a factor there, although I think I actually twisted my ankle near the end of the day yesterday.

Yesterday's work wasn't terrible, but with the student worker bailing at 2:30, we were short staffed for the final 2.5 hours. At one point, the three of us had sixteen laptops being worked on.

No free breakfast today, either. Damn, I'd gotten spoiled. We're supposed to get a free lunch, though.

In spite of the big-ass ad they took out in the Wheel, the new coffee place in the library opens at 9, not 8:30. Suck. And stupid.

Gah. One of those days. Again.

And I'm reloading CNN.com about every thirty seconds, so you'll know if anything pivotal happens. Like, um, the Superdome? Which they've housed 10,000 people in? Is starting to collapse.

And landfall was really close to Judy's place.

I'm the unofficial tech on my dorm floor, and I think I'm working on some random chick's laptop on the third floor today. The computer help desk guys bailed at noon yesterday. NOON. I keel them.
