Prison Break and other Thursday stuff

So we finally watched the Tivoed copy of the pilot of Prison Break, which we liked enough to keep a season pass for. It's cheese (and it has plotholes large enough to drive an SUV through, starting with a cat who apparently sucks down Valium), but it's fun, and there's nothing else remotely interesting in that timeslot. It's kind of weird seeing Adam from Popular: Season 1 in the lead role. And watching Robin Tunney is always enjoyable.

Today is the first day of classes. So we ramp up from "insanely busy" to "jesus fuck, shoot me now!"

Yes, it really did take me four hours to write this -- that's how much time I've had.

I'm having a hard time distinguishing between Robin Tunney, Sprague Grayden (Joan of Arcadia, John Doe), and the clips of Emily Deschanel I'm seeing in the "Bones" commercials. This archetype of smart and/or sassy brunette seems to have taken a strong footing.
