glenn5 came over last night, and he, shadesong, and I watched the season premiere of Lost, which was definitely fun. Not posting any spoilers here, but suffice to say, I'm intrigued. Not enough to drop Veronica Mars next week, but I'm definitely not going to wait for the reruns.

I now have my copy of Thud! . I'm amused by the fact that the only blurb from a fellow author (as opposed to a critic) is from A. S. Byatt.

I'm also amused by the fact that when I say "A. S. Byatt," my next instinct is to say "throw back a bottle of beer."

Words I never thought I'd read at Cnn.com: No one answered the telephone at Porky's Rib House on Wednesday.

Not much else going on. Tired and busy, as always.
