Wondering what the first show of the season to be cancelled would be?

Head Cases.

Guess his collaborations with Schumacher aren't the worst mistakes Chris O'Donnell ever made.

It looked pretty banal and humdrum to me. And David E. Kelley has the market for "grandstanding histrionic attorneys" cornered.

I "watched" part of it too, I was doing something else and it was on in the back ground. It got bad enough its badness immanations invaded my consciousness and I had to get up and change it to something less annoying.

Unfortunatly what i changed it to was some other new show of overly wrought people in some sort of intelligence agency (e-team?) that was just as bad, wound up flipping back to head cases just in time for the attrocious closing arguments

Crud; my money was on The War At Home, which I could tell was vile just from the previews.

fox doesn;t cancel things because they are vile

All too true. I'm sure we'll get the eleventieth season of the goddamn Simple Life soon.

Fox always seems to be the quickest on the trigger!

I wasn't sure which show would get it first, but I expected it to be a Fox show... and I was almost certain they'd replace it with more Reality Shows.

'Cos hey, it's just what they do (http://www.livejournal.com/users/cscottd/46596.html).

That looked like a waste of Adam Goldberg.

Wow. FOX makes those decisions SO quickly. Even if they were right ths time, you'd think they'd become a little more... measured in their response.

Good grief. I was only loosely aware that a new TV season had started. How'd it get cancelled so quickly - was Allison LaPlaca in it or something?

I was probably the only person actually enjoying Headcases...

but if you look at Grids, it was gonna be cancelled anyway. I think FOX seriously planned to cancel it.

Soon it'd be up against Mars AND Lost. Or I'm reading grids wrong...

I always end up by the third week of the season, watching maybe two shows and never knowing when they're on...

and I'm a TV freak, but lately, most stuff is just bunk and what I do like gets cancelled.

And Criminal Minds, which turned out to be the serial-killer-profiling show that The Inside wanted to grow up to become.

Still . . . ouch. Only two episodes, and no more to ever be shown.

Mars, quality show or not, isn't exactly a ratings powerhouse.

I liked it, but the writing seemed a bit forced plot-wise.

I didn't think it was great, but I LOVE Adam Goldberg. So I was hoping it would make it. As sitcoms go, it was eh. But cute. *waves goodbye*

I hadn't actually heard anything good about the show (well, except from the commercials and yeah, those just don't count) but *damn* that was fast!
