Things From Another World
has a number of really nifty Usagi Yojimbo t-shirts at cheap prices ($6-7).
But they don't have the shirt I want, and since they're the official Dark Horse retailer, I suspect I'm out of luck.
You see, my all-time favorite Usagi shirt is one that came out back in the late '90s. It's a gray shirt (I hate white shirts, and only hate black shirts slightly less), with Usagi, Gen, Tamoe, and Chizu all standing in a row, in a "ready to fight" stance. Oh, and with Spot, too. :-) It's an absolutely wonderful shirt, likely from Graphiti or Comic Images. But, after years of use, it's developing holes, and has started to wear thin.
If anyone happens to walk into a comic shop and see this shirt sitting around in XL (or XXL), and sees it selling for a reasonable price, I'd love to get another one. I do love (and will probably buy) the current shirts, but I want the classic one with my four favorite cast members*!
And no, can't even find an image of it online. Phooey.
*Yes, I like Kitsune, too, but she's not the fighter that these four are.
