Chrebet and Baker are now out for the year.

What the article doesn't say, incidentally, is that the shot that took Chrebet out was as cheap as they come. Jerry Wilson didn't just send "the receiver to the ground on his back, and the back of Chrebet's head violently hit the Giants Stadium turf." No. Wilson nailed him, and as he and Chrebet went down, put a hand on Chrebet's mask, and shoved it into the ground. Hard. Think of the sort of shots Jason uses to smash people's heads, and that's what we're talking about. Wilson's a cheap-shot artist (it pretty much goes with the territory, if you're the number three or four safety on your team, that you're a cheap-shot artist, as you probably lack the other skills the position needs), but this was cheap even for him. Chrebet's one of the classiest guys at a position that tends to produce assholes like Randy Moss and Terrell Owens, and players like him are all too rare.
Personally, I'd love to see someone drive Wilson's head into the turf like the asshole deserves, but unless he makes an interception (ha!), he's not likely to ever be in such a position. Bullies rarely put themselves at risk.
