You know, I appreciate LJ telling us that we can use the recent comments as a stopgap while we're waiting for them to fix the weeks-old problem of comment notification emails, but that page would be a lot more useful if it A) also tracked responses to my comments in other posts, and B) didn't waste the page tracking comments I've left in my own LJ.

Of course, if they'd fix the comment notification issue, I really wouldn't give a shit how useless the recent comments page is, since I wouldn't have to use it at all.

I think it's all a ruse to make us all use the Recent Comments page.

And I think that is still limited to paid members as well. I have it too but many people would not.

The recent comments page hasn't even been showing all my comments over there either. So it's not working for me either way!

Yay!

Um, if you scroll down to the bottom it DOES track the last 50 comments you've posted to OTHER people's journals.

Since i still commment much more than post in my own LJ, i have to click back and forth with the links in the Recently Posted section of the Recent Comments Page to try and keep track of anything. Bleah.

You know, it would really cool if there were some sort of online journaling application where they could talk about what the problem is, what they are doing to fix it and how long they think that might take to work

I don't use emailed comments so it isn't impacting me but people have been bitching about this for weeks, at the very least you'd think they'd at least explain what the problem was in techie detail

Yeah. It kind of aggravates me that all I see on their support pages are reassurances that everything should be working.

Geez, just tell me how long I need to wait. That way I won't keep waiting for it to happen.

Yeah, that recent comments page is indeed of Teh Sukk. I do virtually all of my replying and re-commenting by email notifications, so that page does me dick-all good anyway.
