I was (and remain) skeptical about Brett Ratner taking over the X-Men franchise (not that I've hated anything he's done, but he's no Bryan Singer, even if they both have hit shows on Fox).

But the first trailer? It's a fucking beauty.

Well, Ron Howard's been failing for years at it, in spite of having the best show on the network.
