Wednesday stuff
Feb. 15th, 2006 08:10 amSo, I already said yesterday that our Valentine's Day stuff included watching House and Gilmore. We also exchanged gifts, of course.
shadesong got me two new pairs of boxers, both V-Day themed: One with Peter Griffin and a bunch of hearts on the front, and "Frickin' Sweet" on the back. The other has Cartman, hearts, and the word "Beefcake." :-) My wife knows what I love.
I got her Pirate Bandages, a stuffed Cupid Moose from Caribou Coffee, and the book Jewish Holiday Fun for You, which was clearly meant to be hers. I know what my wife loves, as well.
We got Elayna a pretty blue dress and Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. She was quite pleased. I also helped her bake brownies for her class the night before, which she brought in to the class party. Of the forty that went in (to a class of 25), three somehow made it home alive. That worked out perfectly for our household. :-)
As far as TV went last night, Gilmore was, well, written by Daniel Palladino. Wasn't terrible, but it had some awful moments. The chemistry between Logan and Rory, however, remains wonderful. House was a blast. Wilson got so many great lines in. And House took his advice!
Tivo reminder for this weekend: Not only is there a new JLU once again (yay!), but season 2 of Slings and Arrows starts on Sundance (double yay!).
ETA: How could I forget:
shadesong also got me a virtual Katamari card!
