So in four years, they've progressed from death panels to death camps. Classy.

Much as I hold a special loathing in my heart for nutjob racist Jews such as Pamela Geller and David Horowitz, I really want people who aren't members of the groups that were sent en masse to death camps to shut the hell up with the Holocaust comparisons. I think what's worst about the quotations from Nuxoll in that article is not that she thinks Obamacare is that bad -- it's that she clearly doesn't grasp that the Holocaust was.

It's not just the lack of understanding of the difference of "some people might die" with "genocide", she doesn't seem to understand that there was malicious intent in the Holocaust. Other people in the article are saying that the terms she used were offensive, but it's got nothing to do with offensive terminology, it's got to do with not making it clear that she has no idea what intentional genocide is.

Yes! Her argument reads as if the Holocaust was some sort of generic bad political decision/scandal a la Teapot Dome or Watergate. I get criticizing policy you don't like, and ever resorting to hyperbole, but what she's doing is appalling.

(And don't get me started on Geller and Horowitz.)
