Actual analogy used by the producer of the new Legion of Super-Heroes cartoon:

"In a lot of ways [Bouncing Boy] plays Bones to Brainiac 5's McCoy."

Um, sure. Maybe Lighting Lad will balance them both out by playing Leonard? And Timberwolf can be The Ship's Doctor!

Bwahahahaha!

I weep for the death of both the classics and the ability to think.

Yogi Berra has won.

And since he didn't SAY the Romeo and Juliet line anywhere you might wanna clear that up since ppl reading this and not the article seem to think he said THAT not the bones misspeak.

It's just irresponsible to make people think "wow this guy is REALLY fucking stupid" and basically misquoting him if you know that ppl won't readpast it to see that it ain't him what said that.

Irresponsible because when you see that people are attributing the subject line quote to the person involved when you know he didn't say it... then you know they aren't getting it or going to the link - which is fine - but then, once you do know and shrug opff the fact, it's kinda willingly misleading.

In my book.

It isn't about reporting the news vs. pop culture, it's simply, to me, generally not worth damning people for stuff they didn't do when what they did do is gonna be more than enough.

Didn't Bart Simpson originally say that line? Or was it Millhouse talking about Lisa? Either way, that line is incredibly familiar to me, and I see the Simpsons when I think of it.
