Freebies at iTunes: Higbrow and lowbrow

Lowbrow: Pilot episode of Who Wants to Be a Superhero?, Stan Lee's latest attempt to prove that with friends like him, the comics industry doesn't need enemies.
And (in the "middlebrow" category, I suppose, which is better than Lowenbrau), the free single of the week, "Listen Up," by Gossip, is good. Damned good.

Date: 2006-08-01 08:41 pm (UTC)I went to the post office to buy some stamps!!! "What manner of stamps," asked I, "hast thou in thy drawer holding Pasty-sided Sheets of DOOM???"
Post Office Lady reached in her drawers and withdrew a coloriforous sheet and BAM! slapped it on the counter! "We have the new Marvel Superheroes stamps, old chum!" Post Office Lady erroneously said as she RUNG! up a sheet of the new DC Comics Superheroes stamps!
Post Office Lady and the non-comicbook-reading publich, in my opinion, have equated superheroes with Marvel Comics, thanks to the X-Men, Spiderman, and Fantastic Four movies. Stan Lee has won.
