They announced the new meatsmithing items (which are so numerous that keeping up with them is nearly impossible) and the changes to the Chameleon, but there's also a ton of new utensils! I found this out when I ended up with an oversized pizza cutter from the Airship. +13 to spell damage and it's one-handed! Score!

There's also a new hilarious item (the defective skull), but I haven't managed to summon it yet. And there's a ton of new artwork -- Complete Delusion, Sugar Rush, and Rainy Soul Miasma all have custom icons.

As for my current run, it feels disappointing to emerge from ronin so early on. Then I realized that "early on" was still two muscle points into Level 10. Still, this won't be nearly as efficient a run as the last one. *shrug*

I did finish the day at level 11, but without enough adventures to win. I'll likely beat the NS and ascend tomorrow. Not sure which skill I'll take yet. Likely Empathy, but I might go for Skin of the Leatherback.

Adam, if you complain ONE MORE TIME about how you are so "ineffecient" at playing KOL, I'm going to have to beat you senseless with my cerebral crossbow.

I have gotten like 5 knob goblin spatulas in a row looking for a chef's hat to make my chef-in-a-box. I think I've autosold like 8 already.

The chef hat drops on the Outskirts of the knob, not in the Knob Kitchen.

That's what I get for not checking the spoiler site...
ugh...turns out the other item I was lookings for in the kitchens is also in the outskirts...no wonder I wasn't getting anything.
Oh well, now I have lots of wads of dough for when I do get my chef in the box built.

So if you can summon hilarious objects, is there any way I can offer you something in trade for a fake hand? (I've been trying to figure out who I know who might have a spare one for a few weeks now.)

I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to take from my first Seal Clubber run. Probably Lunging Thrust-Smack. This has been my fifth run and this skill made it by far the easiest.

I've got a defective skull you can have, I played with it and it's fun but I'm not using it anymore.

I made a Star Spatula last night since I saw them as some of the recent updates on the wiki.

One handed, +15 spell damage, so you can offhand a Kickback Cookbook for +20, then an Enchanted Toothpick for +12. Disco Bandit with eXetreme Ray of Something just got a bit more dangerous.

And I've been doing some fast runs myself lately. My frustration is not having enough "stuff" to get the XP to increase my level faster, so most of my turns are going to XP farming. I think I'm going to do one more moxie run during the next two moxie days and then go to Seal Clubber for cold resistance, two-handed, and probably Tongue of the Walrus at least.
